New delhi, Vice President Mr Rahul Gandhi has been nominated for the post of Congress president. Rahul Gandhi is to be selected as the 11th head of the competition.Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today filed his nomination at 11 am. The Congress today is the last day to file nomination papers. Tomorrow's nomination will be reviewed. Congress presidential candidate will be announced tomorrow. The deadline for withdrawal of nomination is December 11.If there is no contest, Rahul Gandhi will be selected as Congress leader on December 11th. The vote on December 16 will be held. Results will be announced on December 19th.Rahul Gandhi had filed a nomination in the Congress headquarters.Earlier, at 10 o'clock, he went to Sonia Gandhi's house in Janpat and received a blessing. Then he met former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and got a blessing.Members of the Congress Working Committee proposed Rahul Gandhi's name.
